LPC CARD OR UNIVERSAL ONE CARD
Well, hopefully we weren't just taken by Lpc! In the middle of the activation process we decided not to complete the process...When they asked for our checking account number, thank goodness Ron told her he wasn't comfortable with giving out that information. Then he asked if this was a credit card or a merchant catalogue credit card. Of course she was reluctant in her answer and he told her no thank you and discontinued the process. Yet, we are still somewhat concerned that perhaps they got enough information...It really is something to be concerned about....I hope we never hear from them again in any form or fashion! Ron

LPC RIP OFF!!!
Needing to rebuild my credit, I was suckered in :( Once they had taken out the activation money, I found out that I could only buy GARBAGE from their company. I wanted my money back and cancelled the card. They told me I would get refund information in the welcoming packet, and that I had 30 days from the date of activation to mail in the refund request. Well, the welcoming packet came, but it didn't come in the mail until 31 days AFTER I had activated. Then 2 months later, I got another $99 taken out of my account that I wasn't even expecting was going to be taken out of my account. I called my banks forgery department, and they said they will not honor it because of the fact that it is a matter between me and the company I "Signed" with...I never signed ANYTHING. But by giving them account information, I guess I agreed to these BS charges!! Of course my bank isn't going to do anything about it, they're scamming right along with the scammers! The scammers caused me to have overdraft charges which is money in the banks pockets!! CANT TRUST ANYBODY THESE DAYS. I'm PISSED!!! Contacting Attorney General

LPC card...the envelope smells fishy...
I received an LPC card yesterday and my first thought was this must be some type of consumer scam. The nerve of businesses to prey on the needs and sometimes desparation of those experiencing financial hardships is unbelieveable. I'm glad I took the time to view complaints from other consumers. I encourage others to do the same. No matter what your credit status may be, consumers should be protected from these types of businesses who clearly seek to further damage consumer credit ratings. Expectations of honesty and intergrity is too much to ask these days I suppose. God Bless...

LPC Card
I also received one of these cards in the mail, and after reading all of these reviews am so glad that I decided to wait to activate it. I have defaulted on like 8 credit cards, and they wanted to give me 7500 dollars! I knew it had to be a scam, I know that I have terrible credit, and it says right in the privacy policy that it is not intended to help you build credit, it will help you build credit with them though. What a joke. Also, whoever heard of a company offering you a card where instead of taking the fee from your credit line they take it from your bank account?

LPC CARD IS TROUBLE
I want to warn every one about this low pay card or lpc. Do not be decieved or sucked in. They are a rip off and I believe the only money they make is from the 200.00 they charge you to activate the card. You aren't able to see the prices before you sign up because they are outrageous. I thought I would get a laptop when I signed up, and the price was almost 3000.00 for a acer 600.00 computer at most from best buy or circuit city. I called to cancel immediately when I saw the prices and the girl told me I gotta wait to recieve the package and get a cancellation number to cancel and you know what, I paid on April 4 and deadline to cancel is May 4 and today is April 24th and I still haven't gotten my package. Im calling them back on monday and advise that it would be in their best interest to refund my money with no hassle because they are not honoring any of the agreements they make to consumers and I will file a claim with the attorney general against this company. they are rip offs. I wish I had found this site before signing up. PLEASE IF ANYONE GETS THE LPC CARD IN THE MAIL, SET IT ON FIRE IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope this helps someone.

Scam!!
Attention Everyone: Do not sign up for this LPC card. They are a very deceptive company. First they take your account information. I don't know of any other companies that do this. I decided it would be a wise idea to cancel with this company. The biggest thing that pissed me off was one of their reps said there is a $79 processing fee. This was taken out of my account this morning and I filed fraud with my local bank. Whatever you do DON'T give them you account information. If you activate your card I was told their is a $200 fee to do this. Be aware they are out to take your money!!

Thank goodness I found this site
I just got one in the mail today and was excited for 2.7 seconds then read the paperwork that came with it and instant red flags popped up! Thank goodness for Google! Cutting up the card at this very moment. LPC should be ashamed! All they are good for is, well..... absolutely NOTHING! Say it with me: Scam, scam scam! Scam, scam scam! Scam, scam scam! Scam, scam scam! I have never even heard of this company in my life and they instantly out of nowhere want to give a single struggling mom a credit limit of $7500... I think not! Cut this card up ASAP

LPC is a scam forreal
I went to cancel my card before they even took out any money about 1 month ago, but these scammers are still trying to take out over 175 dollars, then on top of that BS, the costumer service number they gave me is busy all day everyday..it sounds good to anyone who needs to rebuild there credit but after i did a little research come to find out, they only have a PO BOX #. That should have been sign number 1 because i know for a fact visa and mastercard etc. etc all the other "REAL" credit card company 's have a normal address.

Dont fall for it.
LPC or Lowpaymentcard or Lowpaycard is a scam and i wonder how the government allow it to get peoples money with this kind of economy. They don't give you all the information and they rip you off over 200 dollars even without using their services. Please please GUYS DONT FALL FOR THIS SCAM. They send you a card letting you know you have a credit line for over $7500 but they want you to buy their expensive products form them only. This is not a normal credit card. You only buy from their website only. PEOPLE OF THE WORLD WATCH OUT. i FELL FOR IT. I DON'T WANT YOU TO GO THOUGH THE SAME.

I got a LPC card, did not order it...
I received this LPC credit card in the mail, I did not order it and do not want it, I tried to contact them to get it taken off and you can't reach these people. I did send a e-mail which they say probably won't be answered for 2 business days. And then, having sent the e-mail, I received a note that the only way to cancel a credit card was in writing and gave an Los Angeles, Ca address. I'm really upset about this and want to get this stopped, what else can I do?

LPC sent me a credit card with the limit of 7,500 dollars that turned out to be a total SCAM.
LPC sent me a credit card with the limit of 7,500 dollars that turned out to be a total SCAM. I am very unhappy on how they "supposedly" handle their service. When i received the credit card in the mail, i was ready to activate it. But the letter that i received regarding my "approval" didn't look quite professional. So i did some research online and found many people with complaints about this particular credit card. Thank god i caught it quick before i actually decided to activate. Also i took a look at their actual website. They asked me for my checking account number. CREDIT CARD COMPANIES NEVER ASK FOR BANK ACCOUNT NUMBERS. That was another way how i totaly knew it was a scam. What i realized that there are peole some were located in California who happened to be bunch of theives and scam people for the money that they work hard for. Which should be immediately REPORTED
